I watched, Truth be said... New CM has no Verguenza, by accepting this position that he had no clue what CM is. He only accepted for the money, not the City ,not for the residents. The 3 that put him in

needed a puppet to do what their personal agenda is and was. Not for the City. All SELFISH.

I have been saying this since day one. City Manager Peter Iglesias would not budge in to their requests, Peter went by the book, Class Act, loved and loves the City, office hours were as long as the City needed him there, or until the job was done and more.

Never left at 3pm as New CM does everyday.

I’ve got to say, everything mentioned here is spot on. The new city manager’s performance is honestly shocking. We, as taxpayers, are funding these salaries, but where’s the return? The inefficiency is off the charts. I’ve personally had to work with the city for 20 years, and I’ve never seen it run this poorly.

The only one stepping up and actually resolving anything is Mayor Lago. He’s responsive, professional, and answers emails the same day. That’s the kind of accountability and leadership we need. This isn’t about politics—it’s about professionalism. We’re paying for a level of service that we’re just not getting. Enough is enough.

How has efficiency decreased? Provide an example. What I heard Gonzalo say is he is the CM is well-liked and empowers staff. Those typically are qualities one looks for in a leader. I’ve “only” been around 12 years and besides the fighting between commissioners, everything else is about the same.

I understand not liking how the CM was selected but I still haven’t seen how the guy is ruining the City.
