And nice how he only recorded the resident when the resident reacted to his total disrespect and hypocrisy saying "we don't want to deal with you either"....really? Then why the (insert what you wish here) did you come on my property, knock on my door, take my time to try and convince me of your lies? It's a very sad time in coral gables!!!!
Mr Mayor, I believe we owe a debt of gratitude to the dedicated recall canvassers who tirelessly knock on doors, awakening the silent majority. It’s unfathomable to think anyone would be naive enough to oppose such a widely supported figure such as Mayor Lago. I believe those contemplating challenging an uncontested Mayor may reconsider, given the overwhelming support garnered through the diligent efforts of these door to door campaigners. Thanks go out to Mr Winker, Maria Cruz and their Financier for their invaluable contribution!
These canvassers and their leader are turning Coral Gables City Government and our City Beautiful into a true Banana Republic. It is sad to know that all these problems coincide with the election of new commissioners. First they raised their compensation to an outstanding limit. Then they got rid of a City Manager, that had made our City to a AAA bond rating. Now they are trying to get of the Mayor, and also our Chief of Police.
I have lived in Coral Gables for the past 35 years, and have never seen such low and dirty actions taking place.
Whoever is leading the recall of the Mayor, must have hate in their souls. Show positive proof of the accusations that are being made, and I would sign such petition, but as of right now and abiding by the terms of our judicial system, you are innocent until proven guilty.

I've had 2 canvasses so far. One a young woman being driven around in a car... she was polite and wasn't even sure who is sponsoring the recall.
The second, a very pleasant young man with a bit of a rough appearance and a stocking cap.
In neither case could the canvasser give me any specifics...
At least, thus far, the comments aren't anonymous. When signed with a cutesy name the post loses all credibility.
