Jay thank you for your comments. It’s heartening to witness decent individuals advocating for our city. Our city has always had a majority, a silent majority who know how to do “the right thing.”
Thank you for sharing the videos. In one we have a 'victim' appealing to her age to make her point. In another one (likely to be of the same age), giving a logical reasoning to make his point. What Coral Gables do we want ? The one governed by emotions and self defined victims, or the one governed with common sense and logical thinking ?
I had a difficult time with the top video. It kept stopping midway. I was able to catch the gist.
Thankfully the second video moved through fine.
I would like to see the first speaker muzzled.
She obviously likes the sound of her voice as all I got from her time was an ill-conceived, mistaken English lesson.
I appreciated the second comment as to the point, cogent and clear. It also addressed issues facing our City. THOSE interested me. Not the petty erroneous English lesson.
It is quite clear which form f government I prefer.
Is there any way at all to stop rhe first speaker from wasting everyone's time on silliness?
All commenters should use their true names and not some silly made up names. The Herald requires names, address and phone numbers to id the letters to the editor so should these posts
A sad but very real revelation of the “in your face” attitude of Coral Gables so called “Leaders”. Sounds more like a true “Banana Republic” to me !!!!!

For rhetorical effect, the written equivalent of a pregnant pause.
The choice between these two societies is not a hard one.
I hope Gables residents are finally waking up. Thank you, AG, for shining the spotlight in the right direction.

Sadly, I assume not under the First Amendment.
